Our congratulations to Year 11 student Ashleigh for her moving performance on Channel 9’s program ‘The Voice’ last night. Ashleigh impressed the audience as well as the coaches with her rendition of Christina Aguilera’s song ‘Reflection’.

Year 9 Information Technology students Chloe, Quyenie, Caitlin and Antigony are national winners in the Year 9&10 category of the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge! The girls took out the honour against 2300 entrants, two thirds of whom were male.
Year 10 student Elena has been experiencing life as a writer for the State Library of Victoria’s ‘Inside a Dog’ website for the month of April. Elena was chosen to write articles in the form of reviews or discussions of Young Adult literature.
Year 11 student Maddison has become the Women's Under 18 Australian Champion in the 800m and 1500m track events! She is featured in this week's Moonee Valley Newspaper in recognition of her achievements.
Our exceptional sporting program at Lowther Hall develops expert skill and understanding in over 25 different sports with teaching and guidance from over 35 coaches and teaching staff. This dedication to sport is generating impressive results from students who are flourishing and excelling in their respective arenas – some at national champion level! We would like to highlight some exceptional sporting results our students are achieving.

Page 3 of today’s Herald Sun features the smiling faces of our Lowther Hall students! We are proud to announce that Lowther Hall will be partnering with St Paul’s Cathedral in Melbourne to provide the first girls’ cathedral choir in the southern hemisphere.
Bishop Philip Huggins commissioned our new Chaplain, Reverend Emily Fraser, in a special service on Wednesday 3 February attended by students from Years 3 to 12, staff, visiting Anglican clergy and distinguished guests.
