A new school year has begun and we welcome back today our students from Years 1 to 12. We look forward to a happy and successful 2016 school year with you!

Please click to view highlights of the VCE Results 2015. The class of 2015 embraced every aspect of School life with energy and vigour and we are proud of each student and all she has achieved during her journey.

This term the Junior School girls have been focussing on the Quality of a Lowther Hall Girl, “She understands the world and her capacity to shape it”. As part of this focus the girls were asked as a year level to choose a person who in their eyes was “shaping their world”. After careful consideration, the Year 4 girls decided that Ellen DeGeneres would be good choice as she spends a lot of her time and attention raising awareness and donating money to charity organisations and people in need.

We know that feeling connected to a community is highly beneficial, and acts as a significant protective factor for our girls. To this end, during Terms 2 and 3, the Years 7 and 8 students at Lowther Hall have worked together to develop better their understanding of their capacity to ‘shape their world’ as they navigate developing their own community within their section of the School.

Our Year 12 girls finished their final day at Lowther Hall recently with their annual tradition of throwing their hats from the Mansion balcony.

Each year, every Year 12 girl receives a yellow rose from a Prep student and, in turn, presents her with seeds, symbolic of the growth that we anticipate for her as she moves through the years at Lowther Hall.

Stephanie (Year 9), Maddison (Year 10), Caroline (Year 11) and Mardi (Year 9) have become Victorian Champions winning the All Schools Track Relay U18 4x400m at Lakeside Stadium.
