Congratulations to the Lowther Hall Stage Band who finished first in their division at the Mt Gambier Generations in Jazz Festival in South Australia over the weekend!
The Generations in Jazz Festival hosts almost 4,000 students from around Australia in a competitive format as they vie for awards in music excellence. The three-day festival also allows students to watch, workshop and perform with professional Jazz musicians including James Morrison and Kate Ceberano. The Lowther Hall Stage Band competed against twenty other teams from around the nation in their division to take out the City of Mount Gambier National Stage Band Award.
Congratulations also to School Captain Isabel for receiving the Super Band Award for saxophone at the festival.
Well done, girls on this impressive achievement!
