Congratulations to our Director of Physical Education and Sport, Mrs Vicki Hoban who has won the AFL Secondary School Ambassador Award for Victoria, in the Toyota AFL National Volunteer Awards! Vicki was chosen from over 600 nominees Australia-wide, and is recognised for her outstanding contribution to the promotion of Australian Rules Football for students. Vicki has worked as an AFL Ambassador since the inception of the program, initiating competitive AFL teams for students in the GSV program at Lowther, growing participation numbers year on year in the AFL 9's and Senior Youth teams, developing and improving custom football uniforms to enhance performance, working with the AFL to donate footballs to children in Vietnam, and providing a remote football program for students during the COVID-19 remote learning period. We are delighted that Vicki's passion and hard work for women and girls in the sport of Australian Rules Football, has been recognised in this way. Congratulations, Vicki!
