Our Year 6 Environment Captains have launched a new initiative to encourage all Junior School girls to be mindful of the environment by bringing with them each Wednesday, lunchboxes that are free of rubbish and excess waste.   

In Junior School we encourage the girls to consider the ways they can make a positive impact on the environment, related to the Quality of the Lowther Hall Girl: She understands the world and her capacity to shape it.   

Girls are to bring a lunchbox each Wednesday that is free from rubbish such as Glad Wrap and other packaging. Every girl who brings a rubbish-free lunch receives a raffle ticket, and at the end of the term a prize is awarded to one lucky student in each year level.
