We are delighted to celebrate 95 years of our School in 2015. Lowther Hall was formed in 1920 when two local schools in the Moonee Ponds area, Winstow Girls School and Blinkbonnie Ladies College, amalgamated to form Lowther Hall Church of England Girls Grammar School. Our School was named after former Archbishop of Melbourne, Henry Lowther Clarke.
Students are always encouraged to value the history of Lowther Hall, particularly students in Years 2 and 7 who study the School’s past as part of their learning curriculum.
We look forward to celebrating our 95th anniversary with you throughout the year.
