Year 3 have focussed their Term 1 Art learning on drawing horses, which culminated in a visit from former racehorse Sub Zero. 

The girls have been engaged in an Art curriculum that teaches them how to correctly draw the proportions of a horse, in particular the rear legs and also the head - depicted from a variety of angles. They have used different media to produce their work throughout the term - lead pencil, charcoal, soft chalk pastels and paint.

Their challenge to draw Sub Zero was an exciting end to Term 1!
