Bishop Philip Huggins commissioned our new Chaplain, Reverend Emily Fraser, in a special service on Wednesday 3 February attended by students from Years 3 to 12, staff, visiting Anglican clergy and distinguished guests.
The service included the presentation of gifts from representatives of the Lowther Hall community, to symbolise Reverend Fraser’s dedication and service to the School in her new role.
“I am delighted to have been appointed as Chaplain at Lowther Hall, and am grateful that the whole school gathered together to celebrate this significant occasion,” Reverend Fraser said.
The Chaplain plays a significant role in our School, not only as a representative of our Anglican traditions, but as a key person in the spiritual development of our community. We wish Reverend Fraser every blessing as she commences in her position.
Welcome to our School, Reverend Emily!
