This week we have revelled in the return of the Years 8, 9 and 10 girls to face to face learning and enjoyed the energy that their return on-site has brought. It is joyous to see the girls reconnecting with one another, enjoying their classes and making the most of their lunchtime and recess breaks to catch up with friends. As we celebrate the end of our latest phase of remote learning, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our parents and caregivers for their support while the girls have been undertaking schooling at home. Your patience, encouragement, communication and care have meant that for most of our girls, learning has been able to continue to be positive and productive.

I am also celebrating our Parents and Friends’ Association this week, as they prepare for a somewhat delayed Annual General Meeting next week. Whilst all parents are automatically members of the PFA, the Association is led by a committee of dedicated volunteers, whose job this year has been particularly challenging. Despite having to adjust to zoom meetings and the disappointment of not being able to gather for face to face parent functions, the PFA Committee members have continued to offer great support to the School, to reach out to new parents and families, to promote connections between girls outside the school context and to lead the many wonderful Year Level Representatives who, in turn, have pro-actively promoted interconnections beyond the school gate.

Thank you to all our parents and carers for your ongoing support. We miss seeing you, but we absolutely know that you are right there with us on this bumpy ride!
