As I write this week’s Bulletin entry, I have just returned to my desk at 9.00am on Thursday and already today I have had several reasons to be delighted by and proud of our girls.
Congratulations to all 18 Junior School students who competed in the District Cross Country competition held at Brimbank Park on Monday 5 May.
Students from Lowther Hall are gearing up to take part in Mt Gambier’s annual jazz competition festival – ‘Generations in Jazz’.
This week has seen many more girls dusting off their winter uniforms and donning Lowther Hall scarves and beanies! At the moment we are in the transitional period where either Summer or Winter uniform may be worn and girls are encouraged to make a sensible choice about which to wear on any given day.
Celebrating Success in VCE, New Spaces and House Performing Arts
One month into Autumn and the leaves on the trees in the school grounds have changed to a palette of vibrant colours much to the delight of the Kinder girls.
Welcome back to Term 2 which has started with the usual buzz of excitement. Yesterday began with our whole school assembly and some wonderful performances by our band girls and 2 of our outstanding pianists.
As everyone knows, last weekend the School community took part in the Moonee Valley Relay for Life. It was wonderful to see the efforts of students, families, staff, Old Grammarians, friends and supporters contributing to this fundraising event.
As I write in the Bulletin today, I have just farewelled internationally renowned educator and learning spaces expert, Stephen Heppell who visited Lowther Hall today.
