Lowther Hall girls have continued to thrive academically in 2024, as evidenced by the outstanding VCE results achieved this year. With 70 percent of students placing in the top 20 percent of the nation, the hard work and dedication of students and teachers is clear! - Over 50% of graded assessments across all subjects = A or A+.
- In Chemistry, 50% of students = study score of 40 or above.
- Other subjects where 25% or more of students received a study score of 40 or above: Art, Biology, Legal Studies, Literature, Music, Theatre Studies.
- In the state of Victoria, 9% of students achieved 1 or more study scores of 40 or above - for the Lowther Hall Class of 2016, 38% of students achieved 1 or more study scores of 40 or above.
VCE Results 2015
Highlights:
- Leta Elias, 2015 Lowther Clarke Scholar (Dux), achieved an ATAR score of 99.9
- 19.4% of the cohort scored an ATAR of 95 or more, placing them in the top 5% of Australia. This included 3 students who scored 99 or above.
- 29.1% scored an ATAR of 90 or above, placing them in the top 10% of the nation.
- Four students achieved perfect study scores of 50 out of 50: two in Further Mathematics, one in English, and one in Legal Studies.
- 21.6% of study scores were 40 or above
- The median study score was 35.
- 51% of graded assessments for this cohort were an A or A+.
VCE results 2014
Highlights:
- 22.5% of the cohort scored an ATAR of 95 or more, placing them in the top 5% of Australia.
- 36.6% scored an ATAR of 90 or above, placing them in the top 10% of the nation.
- 44% of graded assessments for this cohort were an A or an A+.
- 27% of girls have been awarded the VCE (Baccalaureate) – an additional form of recognition for students who successfully meet the demands of studying a higher level mathematics and a language in their VCE program.
- Two students achieved perfect study scores of 50 out of 50.

- 100% of students successfully completed VCE
- 33% of students achieved an ATAR score over 90, placing them in the top 10% of Australia
- 63% of girls scored an ATAR of 80 or more, placing them in the top 20% of the nation
- 48% of graded assessments were A or A+
- Three girls achieved perfect study scores of 50 out of 50
- The median study score was 35.
