​The girls in Years 2 to 6 are “kicking goals” this week as their new soccer goals for the grassed area have arrived. Being physically active not only has numerous health benefits but also leads to better academic outcomes.

We were sad to bid farewell to our French exchange students! Visiting from our sister school, La Malgrange in Nancy, the students have been living with their Lowther host families for two weeks, learning about Australian culture and helping our girls to refine their French language skills. We will see them later in the year when Lowther girls visit France on their study tour!

​The temporary wall in Raymond House was removed today revealing the building works that have been happening over the last few weeks. Soon the girls will have a new space to enjoy for their Music classes and our specialist services of Speech Pathology, Psychology and Learning Support will be moving into their new offices.

​Today in Senior School the Prefect Body launched their “theme” for the year: Confidence. They spoke about the way in which they want to explore this theme with the student body over the next 3 terms...

Despite the heat, it has been another wonderful week at Lowther Hall. A special highlight was the official opening of Blinkbonnie House on Friday evening. At this special event, Bishop Philip Huggins dedicated the Mary Thurman Recital Space and blessed our new building...

​Be guided on a tour of our School by Lowther Hall students! Our ‘School Tours’ Day will be held Saturday 10 February. Kindergarten to Year 12 tours will commence at 9.30am, and Year 7 to Year 12 tours will commence at 11.00am.

It is always delightful to see our students return for a new school year, but in 2018 the squeals of excitement from the Blinkbonnie students as they entered their new classrooms, and the gasps of wonder from the Raymond House girls when they saw their new play space,
