Year 11 student, Sinéad has enlisted the help of Senior Chamber Strings students at Lowther Hall to produce a video in support of the fundraising initiative, ‘Violinists Support Ukraine’. Our girls have performed a traditional Ukrainian folk song called Verbovaya Doschechka, which has been performed by violinists around the world to demonstrate harmony and solidarity with violinists in Ukraine. Sinéad writes: “I was moved by the initiative, and once I realised that there were no Australians that featured in the original video, I decided to support the fundraiser by creating our own version of ‘Verbovaya Doschechka’ to our suit our Senior Chamber Strings.
