This week our remote learning has continued and I have enjoyed visiting many Raymond House girls in their Home Groups every morning. Many girls across the School have been preparing for Mother’s Day in different ways. For those of you who have Mother’s Day events this weekend, I hope that they are joyous, despite the slightly challenging circumstances! For those of you for whom Mother’s Day is a difficult time, I hope that you can find comfort in those women who have provided motherly qualities for you when you have needed it. I will be seeing my mum briefly on Sunday in her nursing home and speaking to my step mother in Beechworth via virtual means!
I would like to thank you all for your participation in the survey we sent out last week seeking input about your readiness for a return onsite. As you would be aware, the Prime Minister and the Premier have both spoken today and indications are that next week some restrictions in Victoria will be eased. I anticipate that there may also be some statement made about a return to face to face schooling. In the meanwhile, we are continuing to plan for this eventuality, once it is authorised by the State Government.Posted on by Elisabeth Rhodes
