On their visit to our sister school La Malgrange College in Nancy, France; our Year 10 students gave a presentation to over 200 French students about their lives as students in Australia. They discussed Lowther Hall, their uniform, sport, Australian weather – as well as participating in a ‘question and answer’ portion of the afternoon where French students queried our girls on anything that captured their curiosity.
The audience also heard from both Australian and French students about the benefits of participating in an exchange program.
This event was witnessed by a French journalist who recorded it in an article entitled ‘Seven girls came from Australia’ in the L’est Republicain Nancy newspaper, to highlight the important learning experience that comes with an exchange program.
