2018 marks 100 years since the signing of the Armistice that signalled the end of World War I. To commemorate this milestone Year 12 Humanities Captains, Georgia and Iliana, commissioned a 'Wall of Reflection' at Lowther Hall, a permanent installation of almost 500 poppies.

Raymond House girls are preparing for their production of Peter Pan! This ticketed event will be held in the Joan M Garde Cultural Centre, Saturday 17 November.

Term 4 began today with our annual Prep and Year 12 Rose Giving Ceremony! Each year, our Year 12 girls give seeds to the Prep girls, who in turn give a yellow rose - to symbolise the growth of all girls during their time at Lowther Hall.

​We invite you to visit us on our 'School Tours Day', Saturday 13 October! Be guided around our campus by Lowther Hall students, with tours starting at 9.30am for Years Kinder to 12, and 11am for Years 7 to 12.

Lowther Hall won the 'Marketing and Communications Campaign' Award for Excellence at the Educate Plus Conference Awards in New Zealand recently! We won for the way in which we launched our New Academic Wardrobe in 2017. The awards were open to hundreds of schools across Australia and New Zealand. Well done to all students and staff who participated in the launch campaign last year.

​A group of Year 5 Lowther girls were the youngest to speak at the National Council of Women of Victoria’s, ‘My Voice My Vote’ event at the Parliament of Victoria last week! They presented views on their chosen topic, ‘Gender Diversity in Leadership’ and interviewed local organisations and politicians in their research of this theme. Well done, girls!

"Hello!" from our Senior School girls currently at the Victorian Interschool Snowsports Championships at Mt Buller! There has been lots of action with the Alpine GS and Ski Cross events, with more racing to continue. Good luck, girls!

We recently celebrated 100 Days of Prep! As part of the celebration, our Prep girls decided that they would share '100 acts of kindness'. They wrote 100 cards to hand out to students and staff today, to tell them how terrific they are!
