Mission & Vision
The Lowther Hall mission and vision statements articulate the School’s overarching goals. These statements inform our approach to everything that happens at Lowther Hall and also underpin our teaching and learning programs.
Lowther Hall is a Christian learning community engaged in educating the whole person for the whole of life.
We seek to be a leading edge 21st century learning community in which each girl is genuinely enabled to be the best version of herself so that in turn she can make the world a better place.
Chosen when the school was founded in 1920, the School's motto, Non Nobis Solum (not for ourselves alone) encapsulates the balance we hope each girl will find in life, so that she is able to both care for herself and for others too. Girls live out the motto through participation in programs such as the Brotherhood of St Laurence Breakfast Club, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme community service, the Foundation for Young Australians’ RU MAD (Making a Difference) project, blood donation drives and through fundraising to support both the Mainuddin School in Bangladesh and other student-selected projects or charities.
