Congratulations to our 'Tournament of Minds' teams who each won 1st place in their divisions at the Regional Finals on the weekend! They will now compete in the Branch (State) Finals at La Trobe University in September. Well done to all teams for competing!

On Friday our Prep girls celebrated 100 days of being at school! They wrote and presented their own short speeches about things they have learned throughout the year, and performed songs, at a special assembly for their parents and peers. Well done, prep girls!

It’s Cultural Diversity Week at Lowther Hall this week, and our Senior School Student Representative Council have been organising activities to celebrate! Today we were excited to have Old Grammarian Marshie Perera Rajakumar (class of 1993) teach our Senior School students some Bollywood dancing. Thank you, Marshie!

Congratulations to all students who performed at the Winter Strings Festival on Tuesday evening. Over 120 girls from Kindergarten to VCE participated in the event, treating their audience to an array of diverse musical pieces.

Yesterday I was delighted to represent Lowther Hall at the biennial Anglican Schools’ Service at St Paul’s Cathedral. Our Senior members of the Girls’ Voices of the Cathedral sang at the service and we were also represented by the Heads of School, Junior School and Senior School Captains, Deputies and leaders of Faith and Worship.

One of our highest priorities at Lowther Hall is to provide a safe place for girls to learn. As it sets out in our Values Statement, “we value respectful relationships” and expect all members of the community to interact in positive and supportive ways.
