Thank you to everyone who made last Friday’s Twilight Festival such a wonderful success! In particular I would like to acknowledge the work of Festival Coordinator and PFA Vice President, Mrs Catriona Minney, whose vision, energy and incredible amount of work, was instrumental in bringing about such a fantastic event. Thank you, too, to PFA President, Mrs Jacqui Costanzo, for her hours of dedicated work and assistance in the lead up to the Festival. There were so many others who contributed to this magnificent community event: Lowther Hall Staff – particularly Ms Alicia Jenkins, Ms Katrina Dunn, Ms Leah Capuano, the Property Department led by Mr Larry Rouse, the Business Office led by Mr Simon Oldham, the Communications Team, the Visual Arts Department, Administrative staff and the teachers and support staff who worked as volunteers on the night. A special mention to our Dunk Tank volunteers for their special contribution. Also, our generous parents, both past and present – led by the PFA Committee Members, who looked after stalls, supervised rides, cooked and served food, facilitated activities, sold raffle tickets and participated in all things on offer!

Finally, to our sponsors and donors who gave goods, items and experiences – thank you for all your generosity. A particular thank you to the Cole family for sponsoring the rides, to the Basile family for sponsoring the fireworks and to the Russo family for facilitating the provision of the car through Preston Nissan. The feedback from the night has been extremely positive and was an excellent reflection of the school’s spirit. Final tallies are still being undertaken but we know that more than $40,000 has been raised so far. Thank you to all who assisted and attended.
