End of Year Events and Celebrations: students and parents are reminded of the forthcoming events and ceremonies held to mark the end of the 2016 School year. 

Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols Thursday 1 December | 7.00pm | St Paul’s Cathedral 

The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is an inspiring service of reflection on and celebration of the true meaning of Christmas, for all students in Years 4 to 11, their families and other members of the Lowther Hall community. Please note that attendance is compulsory for all girls from Year 4 to Year 11. Further details about our Carols Service will be provided in next week’s Bulletin. 

Grant House Recognition and Presentation Assembly Friday 2 December | 9.00am | Cultural Centre 

All parents of students in Years 10 and 11 will shortly receive an invitation to the Grant House Recognition and Presentation Assembly. This is an important occasion where Year 10 students are presented with the Year 10 Certificate and a number of Academic prizes are awarded to girls in Years 10 and 11. Effort Certificates and School Colours will also be presented. 

Sampford House Recognition and Presentation Assembly Friday 2 December | 2.00pm | Cultural Centre 

All parents of students in Years 7 to 9 will shortly receive an invitation to the Sampford House Recognition and Presentation Assembly. This is a significant occasion where academic prizes are presented for each Year 9 subject. Effort Certificates and Colours are also awarded to students in Year 7 to Year 9. 

Junior School Final Assembly Monday 5 December | 2.00pm | Cultural Centre 

The Junior School Final Assembly is a time where parents and students gather to celebrate the achievements of our girls this year. Awards are given to Year 6 students and Kindergarten students. We also acknowledge the Kindergarten girls’ transition to Junior School. We look forward to recognising those students who have achieved academic excellence, as well as those who have served the School and lived out the School motto, Non Nobis Solum.
